Individuals of the three species of Tropidophis studied in the surroundings of Santa Clara City, Villa Clara Province, Cuba: adult T. pardalis (A); juvenile T. semicinctus found swallowing a Cuban brown anole (Anolis sagrei) during the day (B); and adult T. melanurus constricting a Cuban treefrog (Osteopilus septentrionalis) (C), the prey item most frequently consumed by large individuals of this species.
